Essential Skills: •An honours degree (2:1+) in Geology and ideally a postgraduate degree in Geology or Data Science (at least MSc level) •Experience with coding and analytical languages such as Python, SQL, PostgreSQL etc. •Experience with FME Desktop or FME Server/Cloud •Data analytical skills and knowledge of databases •A professional attitude and a willingness to learn •Ability to deliver high quality geoscience interpretations to time and standard •Comfortable working within a team and contributing to the geoscience and technological discussions within the company Desirable skills: •Two to five years'' experience in the energy industry •Experience of wireline and seismic interpretation would be highly advantageous •Strong communication skills •Experience with GIS technologies such as QGIS, ArcGIS •Some experience with sequence stratigraphy Responsibilities include: •Automation and expediating of workflows •Population of geoscience ..... full job details .....
