Spray Painting Technical Lead Job Overview To resolve quality problems relating to surface finishing.To work with paint finishing suppliers, contractors and internal and external engineers when needed.To optimise new and existing paint application processes and equipment in order to increase productivity and quality whilst also reducing costs.To work with health and safety, training requirements and improving first-time pass rates.To manage the finishing activities associated with new product introductions and any special finishes required by the business.To bmanage all the equipment which is used during the paint application process. This responsibility includes all servicing, planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring legal compliance and regular monitoring.To carry out quality checks of pre and post painted components and providing feedback.Analysing surface coating related data to identify any trends and to drive continues improvement.Updating and creating documentation which supports paint application processes.Complying with all health and safety legislation and safe working practices.Providing advice and guidance on painting processes to anyone within the business.
