Our Client, one of the UK''s leading specialist logistics companies is seeking a customer focused Transport Supervisor to join their team Tamworth. This is a temporary position, likely to lead to a permanent position, offering a competitive salary and great employment benefits. Working for a market leader within the Fuel Distribution industry. Reporting to the Transport Manager, your main responsibilities would include; (but not be limited to) ensuring that vehicles are routed and utilised effectively and that all customer requirements are met on time. This will involve completing the following duties either personally or by delegating to subordinates; Efficient vehicle routing Process development Damage/consignment investigations Customer complaints Compliance Servicing and maintenance Holidays/absence reporting You will form effective relationships with customers and sub-contractors as well as internal contacts including drivers, operations managers and traffic office colleagues.
