Senior Quantity Surveyor for Tier 1 Main contractor working on education projects from 30- 50mAbout the role of Senior Quantity SurveyorYour role as Senior Quantity Surveyor will be to work as the lead commercial on new build projects including education, health care and leisure. You will be working as the no 1 on site and responsible for the commercial success of the projects managing the procurement to final accounting. You will be responsible for but not limited to the following:Issue sub-contract tender packages and undertake contractual evaluation of the tender.Managing the initial contract negotiation to ensure commercial successManage established list of supply chain sub-contractors.Assess contract risk and work with the site team to develop and manage mitigation plans.Attend internal and external commercial review meetings.Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor:The company are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience working on new build construction projects and who has knowledge managing packages ideally with both JCT and NEC contract experience. You will be responsible for packages from pre construction stages. The ideal candidate is someone who is a motivated and keen to join a business with excellent training and progression on offer.
