This is a great opportunity for a Children''s Residential Home Manager who is passionate about making a difference and providing a high level of care. You will be an integral part of a brand-new residential service provision at our Abbey Wood, SE2 residency and will play a vital role in the home''s set-up, OFSTED registration and ongoing future. Our Abbey Wood Residency opens its doors in November 2024. The wider team is in place and the successful applicant will initially be responsible for being the lead contact for the homes OFSTED registration, as well as the day-to-day running of the home. The home has excellent facilities to aid working with children and young people with Social, Emotional, Behavioural Difficulties and Learning Disabilities. You will play a pivotal part in bringing the best out of each young person within your care whilst enhancing their social, practical, and emotional skills in preparation for their adult years. As the new Residential Children''s Homes Manager, you will mainly be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Children''s Home, including providing professional support, guidance, and supervision to the staff team. Alongside this, you will be regularly monitoring and reviewing the policies and procedures of the service and updating where necessary to keep in line with the regulations.
