Community Partner We have an exciting opportunity in an Active Community programme for a Community Partner to work across two coastal communities - Worthing (Sussex) and Thanet (Kent) This role is a combination of working out in the local communities and being home based. It is a full time (37.5 hrs per week) fixed term contract until April 2027. The charity are happy to be flexible with working patterns so let them know if you would like to discuss job share or part-time opportunities. We are looking for someone with knowledge of the sport and wellbeing sector, who enjoys getting people active within communities and has the mindset for community-led ways of working. Working alongside Sport England as a System Partner, the charity''s vision is for people with learning disabilities, and the communities in which they live, to be more physically active, happy and healthy. The successful candidate will join an existing team of four Community Partners who are working in seven other communities across England to help to achieve this vision. As a Community Partner you will work collaboratively with people from Worthing and Thanet to develop the capacity of these communities. You will ensure the work is co-produced with the community and especially by people with a learning disability.
