Role Overview:

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the Key Stage 1 curriculum to young learners, ensuring they develop essential skills across all subject areas. You will create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported in their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver creative and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
• Assess and track students'' progress, identifying areas that require additional support or challenge
• Implement a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities
• Nurture a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting students'' social and emotional development
• Collaborate with other staff members and parents to support the overall well-being and development of pupils
• Maintain effective classroom management and ensure a safe, respectful space for all students

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience teaching in KS1 or a similar setting
• Thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum and current educational practises
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
• Passion for working with young children and commitment to their academic, emotional, and social development
