We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our dynamic primary school in the Stoke Mandeville area. If you have a passion for early childhood education and are committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, we want to hear from you!
Role Overview:
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the Key Stage 1 curriculum to young learners, ensuring they develop essential skills across all subject areas. You will create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver creative and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
- Assess and track students'' progress, identifying areas that require additional support or challenge
- Implement a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities
- Nurture a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting students'' social and emotional development
- Collaborate with other staff members and parents to support the overall well-being and development of pupils
- Maintain effective classroom management and ensure a safe, respectful space for all students
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience teaching in KS1 or a similar setting
- Thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum and current educational practises
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- Passion for working with young children and commitment to their academic, emotional, and social development
