Senior Technician/Development Scientist Job Location: Oxford Salary: up to circa 44,000 We are working with a leading Biotechnology company in the field of oncolytic viral therapies. Their lead program has entered into the clinic with the ambition of providing better outcomes for patients with ovarian cancer. They have an immediate opportunity for a Senior Technician to join their multidisciplinary and dynamic team. The successful candidate must possess a range of technical expertise and knowledge with a good understanding of Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) requirements. Job Responsibilities: Perform bioassay development and validation experiments, and patient sample analysis under GCLP. Management and performance of sample processing. Support in the development, qualification, validation of bioassays and clinical samples meet regulatory and quality standards such as Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP). Timely delivery of biomarker lab data for clinical trials that meet required regulatory and quality standards. Job Requirement: Experience in clinical bioassay validation, analysis, and clinical sample analysis and management in an industry setting; Technical expertise and hands on clinical sample management; Cell culture experience; Technical experience on qPCR, RNA/DNA extractions, ELISA and cell-based assays; Ability to work independently in an organised and methodical fashion; Strong team player who enjoys working in a highly collaborative ..... full job details .....
