Connect2Luton are excited to recruit a Operational Manager on behalf of Luton Borough Council.Main purpose of position:The Adult Social Care Service exists to help people achieve the outcomes that matter to them in their lives, promoting their wellbeing and independence through both statutory and non-statutory interventions and preventing, reducing or delaying their need for Care and Support. The Operational Manager''s role is to directly manage the social work team(s) and contribute to the effective leadership, quality assurance, risk management and safeguarding matters for Adult Social Care, supporting the senior management team in delivering good quality services and effective integration between health and social care through collaboration with stakeholders and partners across the system.You will be responsible to:To meet Luton''s statutory duties under the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 2007 and related legislation and guidance for adults with care and support needs and their carers.To lead a team in implementing Luton''s responsibility for providing assessment and Adult Social Care services to the locality relevant to the team or the hospital.
