Due to increased demand within the department, our client now has a requirement for a Paint Shop Manger. Job description: To manage and oversee the activities throughout the paint department. DIMENSIONS: Ability to Project manage. Overseeing the scheduling of all the work through the department, ensuring all schedules are lean and efficient, with internal processes adhered to. Responsible for the daily performance of the Paint department, ensuring the department is achieving KPIs and managing operational resource correctly. Control labour requirements. Recruit, develop, and appraise team members, setting annual targets. Manage paint and consumable inventory. Plan future capacity and execute burn down plans as needed. Offer technical support on painting, prepping, masking, and de-masking. Communicate and feedback within your team. Ensure all staff have the required competence to undertake their roles, and that they are working to the same standards, providing the necessary training where appropriate. Ensure all records are kept up to date. Liaise with relevant managers and other colleagues on customer queries. Adhere to Health and Safety regulations, ensuring that all staff are complying to the relevant Health and Safety protocol. Motivate your team to deliver outstanding results.
