Job Advert: Full-Time Qualified English Teacher - DesfordWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team in Desford area on a full-time basis. This position will cover long-term sickness from October half-term until Easter break, with the potential for an extension. Key Responsibilities: Teach English Literature and English Language to KS3 - KS5 students. Plan, mark, and prepare engaging lessons in line with the curriculum. Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to inspire and challenge students of all abilities. Work collaboratively with the department to ensure smooth continuity of teaching during the absence. Complete a thorough handover with the current teacher before their leave to ensure a seamless transition.Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Strong knowledge of the English curriculum from KS3 to KS5. Proven ability to engage students and deliver outstanding lessons. Experience in planning, marking, and preparing lessons independently.
