The Role:
As a Drama Teacher, you will have the opportunity to:
- Plan and teach engaging and dynamic lessons across KS3 to KS5, inspiring students to explore their creative potential and develop performance skills.
- Lead and coordinate extracurricular activities, including school productions and drama performances, fostering a love for the arts.
- Create a positive classroom environment where students are encouraged to participate and grow in their passion for drama.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS and has a strong background in teaching Drama.
- Demonstrates creativity and passion in lesson delivery.
- Exhibits strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
- Passionate about making drama accessible and enjoyable for all students.
- Capable of differentiating lessons to meet a range of learning styles and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Engaging Drama Lessons: Teach students from KS3 to KS5, ensuring lessons are interactive, inspiring, and encourage students to tap into their creative potential.
- Lesson Planning and Preparation: Design and deliver inclusive lessons that foster student engagement and accommodate various learning styles.
- Lead Drama Productions: Take a lead role in coordinating school drama performances and extracurricular activities, enriching the schoolandrsquo;s drama culture.
