We design, test, manufacture and assemble landing gear used on commercial aircraft including Airbus and Boeing, and UK military aircraft such as the Eurofighter Typhoon.What will I be doing?Operate conventional and numerically controlled (CNC) equipment used to perform production of Landing Gear pipes (bending, swaging of hydraulic fittings, pressure testing etc.) in accordance with production processes, using approved programs, and in line with quality, cost, deadline and safety requirements. From time to time, you may be required to give line side support to the Landing Gear Assembly line. In addition, you will be self-motivated and able to demonstrate problem-solving capabilities (e.g. managing non-compliance, poor handling, etc.).
