Global mining organisation seeking an ICT Project Coordinator to assist on multiple critical projects.

Your new company

Hays have partnered with a global mining conglomerate to appoint an experienced Project Coordinator to an initial 6-month contract, with a good chance of extension. Initially working across a cyber/network project in its execution phase, once that's complete you'll then be resourced out to other areas within ICT as required. This is an exceptional opportunity for a project coordination professional looking to start their next role ASAP.

Your new role

As the Project Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in supporting your Project Manager/s to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and on budget. Your core duties and abilities will include:

• Monitoring project schedules and monitoring project status to address issues/bottlenecks when necessary
• Maintaining exceptional project documentation, keeping meeting minutes and keeping project records/reports up to date
• Strong skills in the Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Skills in Microsoft Project will be very highly regarded

What you'll get in return

You'll be offered an initial 6-month contract, with a strong chance of extension beyond the initial term due to ongoing work. You'll work alongside a high-performing team who will support you succeed, and be remunerated at a daily rate between $650 - $750/day + superannuation.
