Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with our client who provides progressive and comprehensive multidisciplinary team mental health inpatient services for the catchment area of Dublin North Central, are currently recruiting a Chief II Pharmacist to join their team.The RoleTo lead and manage the pharmacy team in the provision of a comprehensive pharmacy service and to lead areas of service development as required. To provide pharmacy services to all areas of the hospital including dispensary, ward-based clinical services, medicines information services, outpatient services, and clinic, and the provision of a pharmaceutical service to patients consistent with the mission and ethos of the Pharmacy Department and the Hospital. To provide advice, direction, support, and supervision to staff members of the pharmacy team.Key Responsibilities:1. Oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring adherence to best practices, regulations, and cost-effective medicine management.2. Provide expert advice to medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff on medicine use and procurement.3. Maintain quality assurance, risk management, and safety protocols.4. Lead data management, audits, reporting, and policy development related to pharmaceutical services.5. Ensure compliance with PSI regulations and national healthcare standards.6. Manage pharmacy staff recruitment, training, and performance.7. Oversee financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation within the pharmacy department.8. Engage in ongoing professional development and support staff training.Eligibility Criteria:1. Registered Pharmacist with the PSI.2. Minimum five years’ post-registration experience in a hospital or community setting.3. Strong administrative, managerial, and leadership skills.4.
