You will take on a leadership role in the sensor systems team, contributing to the successful execution of sensor-related work packages within a critical program. Lead Work Package Delivery: Oversee and deliver work packages across the sensor systems program, ensuring adherence to time and cost requirements. Team Management: Manage a team of 7 engineers, with plans for team expansion. Product Design Leadership: Drive the design and development of new sensor products to meet program demands. Problem Resolution: Lead efforts in rectifying build and commissioning sensor equipment defects, addressing technical queries, with occasional on-site involvement. Documentation Management: Oversee the production of build and commissioning documentation. Safety and Integrity Evaluation: Assess the safety and operational integrity of sensor products. Safety Case Documentation: Lead the creation of safety case design documents to ensure safe plant operation. Governance and Process Adherence: Ensure appropriate governance and process compliance in all design-led activities. Scrum Master Role: Manage daily team activities, aligning with the broader project plan using SCRUM methodologies.
