Payroll Officer
This well-known organisation is currently in an exciting growth phase and leads the way in their industry. Now is an exciting time to join their growing team and they are seeking a Payroll Officer to join their growing payroll team. This full-time permanent role will be based in their Brisbane Inner City offices, which are located close to various public transport links. Working from home options (2-3 days) will be available after training.
Your new role
Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you will work in a thriving environment and will be responsible for the following:
- Setting up new employees on the payroll system
- Preparing and processing fortnightly payrolls
- Termination calculations
- Assisting with process improvement
- Responding to payroll queries and escalating as required
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- Previous payroll experience
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment
- Strong interest in working in a busy payroll department
