APEX Meadows is our new provision designed to provide individualised high-quality curriculum and intervention to meet the needs of students, as well as providing early group interventions. The role of Animal Welfare Technician will involve day to day animal husbandry and welfare of the animals and supporting the APEX Meadows team in its overall responsibility for the health and welfare of the animals in its care. This role will assist the Head of Apex Meadows in ensuring that the animals within the centre, crops and equipment used by the provision are maintained to a functional, secure and safe standard. This position is offered on a part time, permanent basis of 7 hours per week, 1 hour per day, all year round. This role will involve weekend working.
