This autonomous role has arisen to cover for maternity leave in this market leading business based in Central London. Reporting to the CFO you will have responsibility of making sure the Group is fully compliant across all taxes and the point of contact for all tax issues for the business. Specific responsibilities include:Preparing and submitting corporation tax returns for UK companiesPreparing company and group consolidated tax disclosures for UK statutory accountsLeading the preparation of quarterly Group VAT returns including process improvement to ensure integrity and efficiencyPrimary contact for HMRC and the business for any queriesSupporting the MandA and Finance teams with any projects that require tax input This is a broad and varied role that would suit someone with experience of hands-on compliance experience, ideally in an in-house environment.
