Quality Engineer, Contract, Burghfield - RG30 3RRMain Purpose: The role exists in order to develop and implement site quality arrangements across all aspects of site activities (e.g. Installation, Commissioning, Operations) in support of the overall project lifecycle. The Site Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that activities (e.g. audits) are undertaken to establish the implementation status of the above arrangements and the reporting of such information. The Site Quality Engineer will also undertake specific activities on behalf of the Quality function as required. Key Result Areas: • Developing and implementing site quality arrangements. • Proactively supporting and advising on all aspects of quality on site, including risks and issues. • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with both internal and external Customers. • As required, ensuring quality requirements are defined and implemented as part of the site induction and training process. • Establishing effective communication channels with Customers (internal and external) and Suppliers. • Developing and implementing appropriate auditing arrangements associated with site activities, both internally and externally (e.g. Suppliers). • Ensuring any site quality non conformances / issues are managed and closed out. • Ensuring Supplier quality arrangements are reviewed and approved / acceptance in accordance with site / project requirements, including Customer approvals. • ..... full job details .....
