As a Payroll Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Payroll Manager and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll. This is a permanent part-time position, offering 18 hours per week.Responsibilities:Checking and correcting weekly timesheetsInputting information onto the payroll systemProcessing and filing weekly and monthly payrollEnsuring the timely and correct payment of wages and salariesManaging weekly and monthly auto-enrolment and pension schemes effectivelyLiaising with HMRC and employeesUpdating Excel spreadsheet of labour costs on a weekly basisMaintaining holiday and personnel recordsAnswering calls, dealing with queries, and directing as appropriateAd hoc duties as requiredRequirements:Previous experience in weekly payroll processing with knowledge of PAYE, NIC, C.I.S, SSP, SPPProficiency in using Sage 50 Payroll softwareAbility to work to strict deadlines with strong accuracy and attention to detailExcellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectivelyWhat our client offers:20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with servicePension schemeOn-site parkingIf you are a dedicated Payroll Assistant looking to join a thriving construction organisation, then ..... full job details .....
