Job Title: CAD Engineer Location: Birmingham Salary: 45000 per annum Job Type: Permanent Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings and 3D models, supporting product development, and collaborating with design and engineering teams to bring innovative concepts to life. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed CAD drawings and 3D models using industry-standard software. Work closely with engineers and designers to create accurate technical documentation. Modify and refine designs based on feedback and project requirements. Conduct feasibility studies and design analysis to improve product functionality. Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and manufacturing constraints. Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless transition from design to manufacturing. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CAD software and emerging design technologies. Assist in the creation of bills of materials (BOMs) and other technical documentation. Contribute actively to the overall management of the company. Actively participate in the tendering, estimating, proposals and winning work process.
