My client is looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Legal Assistant to join their well established office in Oxted, Surrey.You will be providing assistance to the Fee Earners on a mixed caseload of property files including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, shared equity/shared ownership, new homes and part exchange.Key Responsibilities:Liaising with clients face to face and assisting via telephone and email.Make appointments, arrange meetings and to maintain an up to date diary for the fee earners.Dealing with post completion tasks including submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax returns online and Land Registry Registrations/dealing with requisitions.Dealing with ID/AML procedures and requirements.Drafting contract packs and client care letters.Ordering property searches.Desired Skills and Experience:Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a conveyancing department. Candidates will not be considered if they do not have relevant experience.Strong and efficient secretarial and admin skills.Fast, accurate typing ability, ideally using digital audio systems.What they offer:Full time in the office Monday to Friday 9am 5pm.Salary depending on experience - £24,000 - £28,000.Standard holiday plus bank holiday.Pension scheme. ..... full job details .....
