If you have experience working with HGVs and in customer service within a commercial vehicle environment, or if you''re a Service Advisor from another automotive sector eager to learn about HGVs, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities:Professionally handle customer interactions, both in person and over the phone.Manage Work in Progress (WIP) for the workshop, including MOT and service scheduling.Keep customers updated on vehicle progress, flagging any potential delays.Clarify the nature of repairs with both customers and the workshop (Retail/Warranty/Contract).Promote additional services or repairs where applicable.Add parts to WIPs and ensure parts are ordered upon relevant authorization.Ensure customer reception area maintains high standards of professionalism.Assist in parts sales to meet targets.Process invoices and manage payment collections.Maintain vehicle history and service records accurately, in line with customer and regulatory standards.Support sub-contract work arrangements as needed.Build rapport with staff and customers, providing excellent customer service at all times.Stay up to date with franchise requirements and ..... full job details .....
