Chef - Diss Norfolk

Chef Eye, Suffolk Up to 15 per hour I am looking for an experienced Chef to work in a residential home that offers nursing, dementia and residential care. The service is home to 30 older people. For this post you will: Be responsible for the planning and provision of daily nutritious meals for residents Ensure the food your purchase is fresh and within budget Ensure all health and safety and environmental standards are achieved and maintained Be responsible for inspiring and motivating your team The successful Chef needs to have: NVQ Level 2/3 in Food Preparation/Catering (or equivalent) Level 2 Food Hygiene, be willing to work towards Intermediate Food Hygiene qualifications Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques A knowledge of nutrition and the ability to develop menus that meet dietary requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills The ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently under pressure Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures The ability to train and supervise kitchen staff A willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Benefits for this role include: A comprehensive induction programme Further training and career progression A 24 hour Employee Assistance Programme Cost of DBS covered Terms and condition apply For more information on this fabulous job, please call Elite Care on (phone ..... full job details .....
