CK Group are recruiting for a RandD Chemist, to join a Chemical company at their site in Wigan, on a permanent basis. The hours required are Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm, with a rate of 12.60 per hour. In this role you would be developing new products on a lab scale.The Company: Our client is a world leading manufacturer of polymers and specialist synthetic resins.Location: This role is located at our client''s site in Standish, near Wigan.RandD Chemist Role: Your main duties will include:Experimental RandD work according to a manual.Laboratory sample preparation.Testing and evaluation of raw materials and products.Equipment calibration.Report generation and ensuring all work is recorded. Your Background: The ideal candidate for this role will have:Chemistry diploma or degree (HNC/BTEC, at least level 4 equivalent, or degree).Experience working in a busy laboratory.Strong verbal and written communication skills.
