Cyber Security Support Analyst Up to 45k Cardiff - Office Based We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Cyber Security Support Analyst to join a dynamic and fast-paced team. This role is integral to strengthening security infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and proactively addressing cyber threats. Contribute to the expansion and enhancement of security infrastructure. Monitor for intrusions, unauthorised activities, and unusual behaviour using advanced tools. Stay updated on the latest developments in cybersecurity and technology. Research and evaluate emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities, implementing effective mitigation strategies. Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Monitor activity using platforms like XDR, SIEM, and SOAR. Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage incident responses. Maintain and document security processes and procedures. Provide guidance to staff on handling spam, malicious emails, and other potential threats. Test and evaluate security products and ensure supplier compliance and certification. Support the maintenance of certifications such as Cyber Essentials Plus and contribute to achieving ISO 27001. Essential Skills: Experience with SIEM and XDR platforms.
