About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled PE Teacher to join our team in the Vale of Glamorgan. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and varied PE lessons that foster teamwork, resilience, and a positive approach to personal fitness and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a diverse range of PE lessons across all key stages, aligned with the Curriculum for Wales.
• Encourage student engagement through interactive activities, team sports, and individual fitness challenges.
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, supporting students in achieving their personal fitness goals.
• Participate in school sports events, clubs, and extracurricular activities, promoting an active school culture.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that nurtures student confidence and wellbeing.

About You
To thrive in this role, you will need to be a qualified teacher with a strong foundation in physical education and a thorough understanding of the Curriculum for Wales. Ideal candidates are committed to fostering a passion for physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a focus on Physical Education.
• Proven experience teaching PE, ideally in a secondary school environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales and current assessment criteria.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• A commitment to promoting a positive, inclusive approach to fitness and health education.
