We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary School Teacher to join our dynamic team, located in the picturesque region of Canterbury, Kent. The successful candidate will primarily teach Key Stage 3 (KS3), fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment conducive to academic excellence and personal growth.

Your Role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum, tailored to the specific needs and abilities of KS3 students.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to promote active learning and student engagement in the classroom.
• Able to teach across all subject leads
• Assess student progress through formative assessments, providing constructive feedback.
• Establish a positive classroom climate characterized by mutual respect, inclusivity, and a commitment to diversity.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering strong partnerships to support student achievement and well-being.
• Uphold high standards of behaviour and discipline in accordance with school policies, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment for all.

Qualification and Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, with a relevant degree in Education or subject area.
• Proven experience teaching KS3, with a track record of achieving excellent academic outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons.
• Enhanced DBS clearance and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. (Or willing to obtain one)
