JO-2502-547972Midlands – Co Laois, commutable from Offaly, Kildare, North Tipperary and surrounds.CPL are working with our client partner to hire a Supply Chain Specialist for their GMP certified chemical production facility in Laois. The plant has been purpose built to support their client portfolio who are primarily in the Bio- Pharma, General Pharma and API manufacturing industries. Due to increased business, they require a Supply Chain Specialist with ERP, Order processing, and Order management experience. Knowledge of import and export regulations is advantageous.This is initially a 12 month temporary role.Role1. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests, while maintaining clear and professional communication.2. Act as a customer advocate during on-site operations, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.3. Collaborate with supply chain and planning teams to provide customers with accurate information and updated lead times.4. Skillfully resolve any order conflicts to ensure a positive customer experience.5. Collaborate with the sales team to meet customer demands and support the achievement of sales goals.6. Play a critical role in coordinating direct deliveries and ensuring a streamlined supply chain operation.7. Maintain understanding of import and export requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.8. Assist in the coordination of logistics activities to ensure efficient product distribution.9. Enter and maintain all customer orders and documentation in business systems.10. Maintain customer details such as requirements, notes, approved and supplementary items.11. Administration duties include tracking shipments, creation, and storage of regulatory documentation.12. KPI management, Customer & Vendor reporting, Forecast Vs Actuals, On time deliveries.Requirements1. 2 – 3 years relevant professional experience.2. BA or BSc desirable.3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and job-related computer applications required.5. Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.6. Strong organisational and time management skills.7. Familiarity with supply chain and logistics concepts is a plus.8. Knowledge of import and export regulations is advantageous.9.
