Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Facilities Assistant to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. We are looking for a Facilities Assistant who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. As the Facilities Assistant, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services. The Facilities Assistant, will be responsible for: Weekly and monthly planned maintenance (visual inspections), such as: Lighting and emergency lighting Fire alarms and call points Utility metre readings Storerooms and vehicles. General maintenance activities, such as: Re-lamping of defective luminaires Minor plumbing tasks and repairs Minor building fabric and decorating repairs. Water hygiene tasks including water flushing and temperature checks. Escorting duties for 3rd party contractors and building outages. To be successful for this Facilities Assistant role you must have: Experience of building maintenance in a caretaker / handy persons role or similar. Experience beyond this is beneficial but not essential. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work as a team.
