Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Wincanton who are actively looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.What you will be doing:Mechanical service, repair, replacement of: Motors, gearboxes, couplings, seals, pumps, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.Electrical service, repair, replacement of: Motors, sensors, valves, control gear, VSDs, servos, instrumentation, power distribution systems, safety systems etc.Evaluate and improve the installations and to increase plant availability, quality and safety.What you will need to succeed:Previous experience working in FMCG and Packaging machineryUnderstanding of Electrical and Mechanical schematics diagrams.Knowledge of different types of maintenance methodology; PPM, CBM, PM, TBMRecognised engineering apprenticeship or HNC/HND in Engineering with 5 years minimum experience in a reactive production environment.What you will receive in return: 44,933.20 per annum + company bonusWeekend overtime availableMonday - Thursday 6-2 and 2-10, Friday 6-1 and 1-8 (39 hours)No NightsWhat you need to do next:If this position sounds of interest and you would like to be considered.
