Key Responsibilities:
- Teach RE to Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire students to think critically about religious and ethical issues.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing support and feedback to help them thrive.
- Create a positive classroom environment where students feel comfortable sharing their views and learning from each other.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the RE department and across the school to maintain high standards of teaching.
- Stay informed about developments in education and actively engage in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications andamp; Experience:
- Previous experience teaching RE at the secondary school level is desirable, but not essential.
- A genuine passion for teaching RE and encouraging students to engage with complex ideas and diverse perspectives.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire students from a variety of backgrounds.
- A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
