Maintenance Surveyor, 6-Month Contract, rate up to £35 per hour (Umbrella/Gross) Your new company We''re pleased to be working with a housing association in the East of England who are looking for a temporary maintenance surveyor to support the team for 6 months. Joining a small team and supporting the Contracts Manager and permanent Surveyor, you''ll be travelling across the region to inspect social housing properties.Your new role As a Maintenance Surveyor, you''ll be carrying out stock condition surveys on social housing properties, inspecting and diagnosing repair issues and reporting on the general condition of the properties. You''ll likely spend 2-3 days out inspecting properties and then a day from home completing the reports. Most of the properties will be in the region, but there may be a requirement to travel further afield on occasion. You will also be dealing with some responsive repair issues, diagnosing any issues and then managing the remedial work with their partnering contractor. You will also likely get involved in some planned works, damp and mould surveying and void properties.What you''ll need to succeed As a Maintenance Surveyor, you''ll have experience of surveying social housing properties, completing both stock condition surveys and managing responsive/planned maintenance issues.
