We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team. Hours: Shifts across Monday to Sunday (drivers must be required to do weekends) -Full Time -Part Time / AD-HOC -Weekends Pay Rate: 17.20 to 24.44 per hour PAYE. Location: Glasgow (G32) Job Type: Ongoing The role: The role (please note there can be different types of runs for this position): Split Shifts - starts from 15:30pm - 18:30pm - driver will be required to go from depot to Carlisle with a loaded trailer, once arrived, driver will then got the the truck stop for their rest (nightout and meal allowance added) . Night Trunks - start times from 20:00pm - drivers will start from depot and go to Carlisle and then take a loaded trailer back into Scotland. . Day Trunks - start from 00:00am - drivers will cover trunks to Abedeen/Inverness/ Carlisle . Double Manned Crews - starts from 12pm - 7pm - 2 drivers will trunk to the Hubs. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E). Have at least 6 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Less than 12 infringement points in any one month and no infringement points for three consecutive months.
