Overview: Equitas are seeking a dedicated and independent Cover Supervisor / Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to lead on a three day a week Outreach programme. This role involves working with a small group of 7 students, delivering engaging learning experiences in various community settings. The successful candidate will also provide support for teaching and learning at a Teaching Centre for the remaining two days. Key Responsibilities: Lead the programme, ensuring that students receive high-quality learning experiences that are engaging and tailored to their needs. Supervise students to and from community buildings in a mini bus, ensuring their safety and well-being. Collaborate with other staff member to create a positive learning environment, fostering strong relationships with students to promote their personal and educational growth. Support teaching and learning at the Teaching Centre, assisting with lesson delivery and classroom management. Build positive relationships with young people, providing encouragement and support to help them achieve their goals. Adapt learning activities to meet the diverse needs of students, promoting inclusivity and engagement. Qualifications: Experience working with young people, preferably in an educational or outreach setting. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students.
