Role: Student Services / Pastoral Facilitator Location: Merseyside Rate: 18 - 20 per hour Type: Full time, temporary, on-goingEden Brown are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Student Support Facilitator to join a leading Further Education College in Merseyside .This is a full time temporary, on going role to start as soon as possible.Key Responsibilities: Provide essential student support, offering advice and guidance on academic matters, personal challenges, and students futures Deliver effective pastoral care, helping students navigate any personal, social, or emotional issues that may affect their learning experience. Assist students in applying for bursary funding and other financial support programs, ensuring they understand eligibility and requirements. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment that encourages student well-being and academic success. Collaborate with progress tutors and other support teams to ensure holistic care and support for each student. Keep accurate records of student interactions and maintain confidentiality at all times.Skills and Experience Required: Previous experience in student support, advice and guidance, or pastoral care within a further education setting. Knowledge and experience of bursary funding, financial support processes, and eligibility criteria.
