Halliday Marx have partnered with a Top50 practice who are looking to hire a Tax Manager on a permanent basis. This role has hybrid working. (3 days in the office, 2 from home) Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals and business owners. Manage all aspects of personal tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax returns. Provide bespoke tax planning and advisory services, including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and residency and domicile issues. Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Business Development: Identify opportunities to expand services to existing clients and contribute to the growth of the practice through networking and developing new client relationships. Stay up-to-date with the latest tax legislation and HMRC guidelines, ensuring clients receive informed advice and compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the firm''s quality and risk management procedures. Qualifications and Experience: ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or equivalent), with significant experience in personal tax. Proven track record in a similar role, ideally within a top 50 accountancy firm or similar environment.
