About the Team We are looking for an exceptional HR Adviser to support the HR Business Partners in our People and Culture Directorate. This is an excellent opportunity to make a valuable contribution to the delivery of our People Plan and support the NMC to achieve best practice in all aspects of HR. About the Role You will be responsible for providing advice to managers on a range of employee relations issues including absence management, conduct, capability and grievance matters. You will also provide customer focussed advice to managers and staff on the implementation of HR policies and best practice, and assist with project work to support the achievement of our HR objectives. You will work closely with your Business area being a visible presence, offering support and advice. You will also be asked to present on specific people issues to ensure the development of our leaders on the people agenda. About You Proven experience as an HR Adviser, able to understand business needs and adapt to changing demands. Extensive experience of managing employee relations. Strong interpersonal skills for establishing effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will have demonstrable experience of using HR database systems proactively including producing reports. We are also currently working on a policy review project so we would look for you to bring experience of drafting HR policy.
