MFL Teacher

Location: Uckfield, East Sussex
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP / September 2025

This school are seeking a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher with fluency in French and Spanish to join a vibrant and supportive school in Uckfield.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons that inspire a love for languages and promote linguistic proficiency.
• Foster a positive classroom environment where students feel supported and motivated.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the MFL department to ensure high-quality learning experiences for all students.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.

Qualifications andamp; Experience

• Fluent in French and Spanish, with a strong command of both spoken and written language.
• A qualified teacher (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with experience teaching MFL at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential).
• A passion for teaching and inspiring students to develop their language skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
