Hours: 47.5 hours per week
Salary: £37,000 - £48,000

Looking for a hands-on role where your skills keep the wheels turning? We’re hiring Mechanical Fitters to join our metal recycling Client, ensuring that machinery runs at peak performance. If you’re looking for a solid career with great pay, benefits, and training, this is the job for you.

Main Duties:

• Fix breakdowns fast to keep production running
• Maintain & repair plant machinery, tools, and equipment
• Identify ways to boost reliability & efficiency
• Support the team with technical expertise
• Ensure safety & compliance at all times

Key Skills:

• Experience in medium to heavy industry
• Mechanical, welding, and fabrication skills
• Health & safety knowledge – risk assessments, isolations, safe systems of work
• Experience working on industrial mechanical equipment
• FLT license (a plus, but not essential)
• Training in working at height, harness use, lifting & slinging (bonus!)
