Young Person''s Support Worker Chichester 12.89 ph (Enhanced rate for waking night) The Role: 1to1 Group are working in partnership with a homeless charity that supports adults and young people. We are helping to recruit relief workers to support the young people with the next steps in their lives. Responsibilities: Provide practical and emotional support to young people experiencing homelessness, including advice on housing, employment, and welfare benefits. Help clients develop life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and self-care, to promote independence. Provide crisis intervention and safeguarding support for Young People Support clients with budgeting, managing finances, and addressing debt or benefit issues. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development. Conduct regular case reviews with the young people to ensure they are invested and working on gaining their independence. Facilitate access to education, training, and employment opportunities for long-term stability.
