Location: Pevensey, East Sussex
Salary: andpound;120 - andpound;250 per day (D.O.E)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: Immediate / February Half Term

The English department plays a key role in the schoolandrsquo;s curriculum, and are now looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and driven English Teacher to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
  • Develop and implement different teaching strategies to cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback to support their development.
  • Inspire students to become confident, critical thinkers through a focus on literature, language, and writing.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and resource development within the English department.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • A genuine passion for teaching English and helping students achieve their potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong classroom management abilities, with a creative and engaging approach to teaching.
  • Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4, with an understanding of GCSE specifications.
