Microbiology Analyst Location: North London Permanent - Full Time - Mon-Fri Salary: £26,000 Do you have experience testing pharmaceutical samples using microbiology techniques? Our client, a leader in delivering high quality, processed biological materials is seeking an experienced Microbiology Analyst to join their dynamic team. If successful, you will be responsible for performing and validating a variety of microbiological tests, as well as reporting any deviations for investigation. Key responsibilities of the Microbiology Analyst include: Conducting microbiological testing and validation, including but not limited to: Bioburden Testing, Sterility Testing, and Microbial Identification. Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMP policies. Analysing results and conducting trend and statistical analysis. Reporting any deviations and assist with investigations. Maintaining calibration, functionality, and cleanliness of laboratory equipment. Prepare reagents, standards, and samples, ensuring good stock control. Participating in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with GMP, laboratory safety protocols, and record keeping practices. Maintaining accurate laboratory records organising assigned work activities, ensuring any delays are reported in a timely manner.
