Our client are recruiting for a Deputy Home Manager for their residential services ( 6 bed learning disabilities) based in Hornchurch, near Romford, Essex. As a Deputy Manager you will be supporting the Registered Manager with the running of the Home''s administration, clinical, finance, training and care planning. To implement working practices which monitor the health and welfare of the Home''s clients and staff, and their living and working environment, to promote quality care within a warm and friendly atmosphere. You will need to have minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification. The organisation are happy to invest to develop and further your training and there could be management opportunity with them. Duties will include: To liaise with the registered manager to ensure that the Home is operated in accordance with and meets the requirements of the National Care Standards Act and the General Social Care Council To ensure current Health and Safety, COSHH and Environmental Health Regulations pertaining to the Home are implemented. To ensure all staff are trained in current health and safety and environmental health regulations To attend and contribute to staff meetings To investigate all complaints and follow through to their conclusion alongside the Registered Manager.
