With over 40 years in the industry, and a passion for ensuring responsibility to the environment, our client is a leading provider in distribution, container transport, hazardous cargo, and flat trailer services. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, motivated and possess an excellent eye for detail. Full training will be given on their in-house systems and processes. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation and processing of financial transactions including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliations. Manage freight-related accounts, ensuring proper recording of income, expenses, and cost of goods sold. Process purchase orders, sales invoices, and supplier payments Monitor and reconcile freight accounts to ensure timely and accurate billing and payments. Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, including the preparation of reports. Assist in preparing financial reports for senior management, including budget forecasts and variance analysis. Liaise with freight forwarders, transport providers, and suppliers to ensure smooth financial operations. Resolve queries related to freight charges, invoices, and payments.
