Morson are working with the counties leading defence manufacturer who are looking for a Quality Engineer based at there Rochester site.The position does require 5 days a week on-site. Primary focal point for First Article Inspections creating and reviewing FAIRs to AS9102 rev C.Taking responsibility for the resolution of quality issues through the structured application of problem solving and root cause analysis techniquesWorking with key project stakeholders on quality investigations. Typical duties include Review and create First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102 Rev CReview complex mechanical drawingsProduce written reports and presentations ensuring accuracy and clarity of meaningSupport non-conformance management activitiesSupport Quality Investigations Knowledge: Understanding and application of ISO 9001/ EN9100 standardsUnderstanding of Business Management Systems, Operational Framework and Operational Assurance process Skills: The ability to interpret specifications, procedures and contract requirementsProven experience of creating and reviewing FAI s to AS9102 standard.Quality Assurance Planning and awareness of EN9100 (AS9100), APQP/PPAP to AS9145 would be advantageousQualifications: (Specify only as appropriate, or say "none specified.
