Temporary Invoice Resolution Specialist - Aged Debt Focus

Location: Haydock, WA11 9UY
Contract Type: Temporary
Pay: £12 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30


We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team for a 9-week contract role, with a specific focus on investigating and resolving customer invoice queries to reduce aged debt. You will work to ensure invoices are accurate, resolve any discrepancies, and expedite payments, all while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve customer invoice queries promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address billing discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to clarify and resolve issues with invoices.
  • Maintain accurate records of resolutions and update customer accounts accordingly.
  • Support efforts to reduce aged debt by identifying and addressing underlying invoice problems.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as accounts receivable or credit control.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Organised, with the ability to manage multiple queries effectively.
  • Proficient in using financial systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
