Prospero Teaching are looking for resilient and experienced Teaching Assistants to work in one of our inspirational SEN Schools in Hexham from after October half-term on a full-time basis. The role will involve working across KS1 and KS2.This role will involve: Supporting young people with challenging behaviour and SEND on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups. Managing challenging behaviour in a positive and consistent manner. Building positive relationships with students and staff Having a "hands on" approach to supporting children in their learning, with a willingness to interact with pupils and engage with them. Working with Class Teachers and other Teaching Assistants to ensure pupils receive the best possible educational experience. Additionally, some pupils may be none-verbal, some may require personal care and others may display challenging behaviour. As a result, your adaptability, resilience and relationship-building skills as a practitioner will be key. It is a brilliantly supportive, inspiring, and enjoyable environment for both students and staff.
