Business Development Advisor
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE

The Role and Opportunity
You’ll be joining a large, niche, manufacturing company based in Sheffield at an exciting time in their journey. Stepping into the global market, they’ve been seeing impressive growth over the last few years, and this is predicted to double in the next year alone.
 
In this dynamic and fast-paced role you’ll be the main factor in how successful sales are in the business. You’ll reach out to old, lapsed clients, focussing on rebuilding lasting relationships, along with tackling new business opportunities. You can also expect to:

  • Identify opportunities to cross sell products in the business
  • Support existing clients with their recent orders and boosting their current spend
  • Assist clients in identifying products that match their needs
  • Liaise with a wide range of people across the company including dispatch, hauliers, purchasing, accounts and external sales teams
  • Build strong client profiles to better assist your efforts in both new and existing business
  • Support the wider sales process by issuing owners manuals, processing orders, and handling customer service throughout
 
The Ideal Candidate
It goes without saying that, as our ideal candidate, you’ll be an outgoing and driven person with ambitions to succeed in a greatly successful company. With experience in sales, and ideally some sort of technical or manufacturing background, you’ll find excitement in business growth, hungry for the next step.
You will also:
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Be able to work effectively within a team and individually
  • Have experience working with a CRM systems and Microsoft Office
